Linatron™ M6

The Linatron™ M product family represents some of the most popular X-ray linear accelerators available for the security and NDT markets. These accelerators are available in several versions that vary by output energy and shielding, as well as other customer-specific features.

The Linatron M6 offers a nominal 6 MeV output, allowing more penetration than the M3 and making it suitable for inspecting larger objects. It is used for both security and NDT applications. The output is nominally 6 MeV, but the dual energy versions (M6A) are available with a second, switchable lower energy output.
