Varex Imaging India was founded in 2018 focusing on Sales and Technical Service of our industrial and medical products.

In 2023 Varex announced to grow its presence by starting a manufacturing facility near Pune and shortly after near Vizag/Visakhapatnam.

Our brand new location will be build in the Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone (AMTZ) and will focus on our detectors/flat panel business. Next to manufacturing it will incorporate also close support functions that help us to make the invisible visible with our x-ray imaging components.

Due to the expected growth of our organisation over the next years, we’re looking for motivated talents in serveral areas becoming part of our global organisation.

About Varex Imaging in Walluf

Varex Imaging Deutschland AG branch in Walluf (near Wiesbaden) was founded through a acquisition of PerkinElmer Medical Imaging in 2017. Our headquarter is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The Walluf site is one of four Varex Imaging locations in Germany, along with Bremen, Willich and Gräfelfing close to Munich.

Our plant in Walluf is a technology leader in the development as well as the production of radiation-hard and robust X-ray cameras/detectors. Our detectors are mainly used for industrial applications and convince with high image quality and speed, for example in the field of non-destructive testing. In the medical field, our high quality cassette detectors can be found especially as a replacement for the classical X-ray films in systems of well-known suppliers.

True to our Varex slogan ‘making the invisible visible’, our approximately 110 employees contribute their expertise and experience daily to the development and production of X-ray detectors, as well as to support functions such as IT, HR, quality management, finance,sales, in order to ‘make the invisible visible’.

Our factory is located in picturesque Walluf, the oldest wine town in the Rheingau region. Walluf is connected to the Rhine-Main area by the A5 freeway and is close to Frankfurt International Airport, making Walluf easy to reach by car, train and plane. For trade fair visitors and day trippers, Walluf is just a stone’s throw away, whether from Frankfurt, Wiesbaden or Mainz.

Die Varex Imaging Deutschland AG Niederlassung in Walluf (bei Wiesbaden) gehört seit der Übernahme von PerkinElmer Medical Imaging in 2017 zur Varex Imaging Corporation mit Hauptsitz in den USA, Salt Lake City. Unser Standort Walluf ist neben Bremen, Willich und München einer von vier Standorten in Deutschland.

Unser Werk in Walluf ist Technologieführer bei der Entwicklung sowie der Herstellung von strahlenharten und robusten Röntgenkameras/-detektoren. Unsere Detektorenwerden vornehmlich für industrielle Anwendungen eingesetzt und überzeugen mit hoher Bildqualität und -geschwindigkeit, wie zum Beispiel im Bereich der zerstörungsfreien Prüfung. Im medizinischen Bereich sind unsere qualitativ hochwertigen Kassettendetektoren speziell als Ersatz für die klassischen Röntgenfilme in Systemen von namhaften Zulieferern zu finden.

Ganz nach unserem Varex-Slogan ‚making the invisible visible‘ bringen unsere rund 100 Mitarbeiter täglich ihr Fachwissen und ihre Erfahrung in die Entwicklung und Produktion von Röntgendetektoren, sowie in die Unterstützungsfunktionen wie IT, HR, Qualitätmanagement, Finanzen,Vertrieb mit ein, um das ‚Unsichtbare sichtbar zu machen‘.

Unser Werk befindet sich im malerischen Walluf, der ältesten Weinstadt im Rheingau. Walluf ist durch die Autobahn A5 mit dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet verbunden und liegt in der Nähe des internationalen Flughafens Frankfurt, so dass Walluf sowohl mit dem Auto, der Bahn als auch mit dem Flugzeug bequem zu erreichen ist. Für Messebesucher und Tagesausflügler ist Walluf nur einen Katzensprung entfernt, ob aus Frankfurt, Wiesbaden oder Mainz.
